If using Coova and Robix, there is a bug in /etc/cp.conf/chilli which means it passes an incorrect mac address to Coova. This is caused by a different kernel version number to the usual robin installs.

In /etc/cp.conf/chilli, look for the line:

# Set DHCP MAC address for UAMURL

and just below that, change the first case statement from:

23|26)

to

23|25|26)

and reboot. Coova should be working now.

Darren.

@ darrenp
That's great thanks, well spotted and reported, I will put this in the next release when I get the time to have a stab at it.

I am chuffed about Coova working for you now as this makes the whole thing a lot more encouraging. Well done.

Apologies for missing it, just not brainy enough I'm afraid.

I will put a link to this report on the robix download sight since it's such a key find.

No probs, thats the whole point of opensource! Smile

Coova does indeed seem to be working very well. Trying to get openid working on it too.

My next problem (minor one) is that the network diagram doesn't show links from robix nodes. I've got two fonera nodes (bridges), which show the link between them, but they don't show the link to the main robix node.

Not sure yet if this is a robix issue, or OLSR.

Cheers,

Darren.

Ignore that... it seems to be working now. How often are the diagrams updated?
