The Display Name for my network in edit.php on sends the first word before the space. So "Free WiFi" makes my nodes broadcast "Free" as the SSID.

Space in SSID may cause problem. The no-space rule should be enforced by the dashboard (sorry for not doing that in the past). The latest version of MeshConnect dashboard will no longer take SSID with spaces. The restriction is set because ROBIN firmware would not guarentee to work in all cases if the network name contains space(s). I had run into at least one instance that a node failed to check-in when using the [Use Node Name] option if the name contained a space.

Please use dash or underline to combine your SSID into one word.

That seems rather limiting for actual deployment of a network. Basically every commercial router out there allows a space. Hopefully Robin fixes that someday.
