Hello all.
I'm a real noob here and I have this little problem, more of semantics problem than an operational problem. The background: I have 2 networks, one production (WhiteBirch) and one test (WBWiFi). both running the standard open-mesh dashboard and CoovaOM. The production network is an RV park, and currently down for the winter. The test network is at my house. When the park shut down last November, I took a couple of nodes home to do some development work on, mostly with CoovaOM. I edited the production network dash and deleted the nodes. I then added the nodes to the test network, renamed them and brought them up. All is well at this point. I then enable CoovaOM, configure my pages and save. I then let everything settle in for an hour or so. Everything on the dash board is fine, correct names and all, but when I go into the Coova pages (My Network/access points), the node names are the same as they were on my production network. It looks like the new names never made it to CoovaOM. I can ssh into the nodes fine. I've re-flashed the nodes to the next code level(s) many times and the names stay the same in CoovaOM. I don't really want to create a new network and dash. As I said, it's not a performance or production issue, just a pain in the kiester looking at the wrong names.

I posted the problem in the CoovaOM forum on Nov 7. Got this reply:
Quote:
The names are automatically determined from the router configuration. It should be taking the name you gave the access point in the open-mesh Dashboard (there is an optional field for name when you add nodes in the Dashboard).

Thanks, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to see this little glitch.

Looks like it's fixed. As you change names on the dashboard, they will change in CoovaOM. It's also posted in the CoovaOM forum. I'm running 2693 if it matters.
