Very strange... My production network had one node upgrade to r2690 and what stinks is that one node ran long enough to check in, but it's dropped off of the network. Guess there still is a bug running around in some nodes that are upgrading when they shouldn't be.

This is the only report of a bad upgrade, I'm not sure if that is good or bad

I just reflashed the node and I've figured out why it's not reporting in... The node is stuck on channel 5 and won't update to channel 11 where my network runs. I've logged via ssh and forced an update, but I'm getting:

Quote:
root@open-mesh:/etc# update
get node status...
grep: /etc/update/nodes: No such file or directory
check dashboard...
update: dashboard updated successfully: checkin #5
uci: Invalid argument

Quote:
Mar 20 09:15:39 open-mesh user.notice update: dashboard updated successfully: checkin #1
Mar 20 09:17:34 open-mesh user.notice update: dashboard updated successfully: checkin #2
Mar 20 09:19:28 open-mesh user.notice update: dashboard updated successfully: checkin #3
Mar 20 09:19:43 open-mesh user.notice upgrade: auto upgrade is disabled: exit
Mar 20 09:22:34 open-mesh user.notice update: dashboard updated successfully: checkin #4
Mar 20 09:22:42 open-mesh user.notice update: dashboard updated successfully: checkin #5

I forget how to force the node to channel 11 so It'll mesh....

Update: It's definitely crapping out when talking to the dashboard since the root password is still at the default.

Well I ended up downgrading the node to r1522 and then back up to r2690 and it appears to be working now. Very strange... One thing that I did have on this node was the

. I stopped by the shop and removed it. This was after I had downgrade it to 1522. When I got home I plugged it in, but it was still acting flaky. After upgrading it to 2690 it now appears happy.

Maybe the reset mod was doing something funky to the circuit. *shrug*

Why did you have to download the upgrade.sh file? It's included with the OM distro...

You can't just download the upgrade.sh file. You must download the files to flash the nodes manually.
