I have to say that with hardly any activity on this forum in sometime that the robin-mesh project and the off shoots from it look dead.

Is this still being supported or is it over and done.

Question

It appears the next step for these offshoots is mesh firmware for wireless N products.
That and making it closed source commercial firmware.

Do note that Antonio (primary ROBIN developer) was otherwise occupied for many months due to a family tragedy. He has recently checked back in.

From what I've found, below are the closed-source firmwares presently available for 802.11N devices. Do please correct me if wrong, but I do believe all three of these firmwares now effectively require their own respective dashboard service (and all effectively forked from current Cloudtrax / OpenMesh dashboard).

Cloudtrax NG

The open source Robin v2 forum is still here, albeit stalled/in limbo:

thanks for your note, anyway I want to say that meshroot-s is not closed source but a 'commercial' project. Since it's based on Openwrt we can't close the source but only some part of the code (something like Ubiquiti AirOS).

Question What is everyone moving to?
I have an established Open Mesh network managed by a stand alone WifiRush server that I will probably be upgrading in the near future and I hate to invest more in something that is no longer supported.

Meraki is so outlandishly expensive that you have to be a large corporation to afford it and I don't see any other alternative for entry level mesh networking.

Is there any additional information about Nubelium, besides the very little presented on the dashboard login page? This appears to be fist mention of Nubelium on this forum.

That is, is Nubelium an Open Mesh / ROBIN compatible dashboard service, or does it also include its own firmware stack? Will it support Open Mesh NG firmware? Is Nubelium related to Nodalis?
