I see the same outage.

Gremlins notwithstanding, there was just a large snowstorm that hit the central US yesterday and today. The IP address for (174.129.195.118) maps to Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is experiencing some power outages due to the storm.

UPDATE: users whose MAC I've added to the CoovaOM whitelist can still connect fine (presumably because the nodes store the MACs locally), so not all users are locked out.

I will attempt to switch a test mesh I have from CoovaOM back to basic OM portal, to see if that works.

I have a WIFIRUSH appliance server that I was preparing to bring up in April and I just brought it up today, earlier than I planned.
Thank goodness, I had all of my user accounts duplicated on WIFIRUSH Server.

I have been having major issues with CoovaOM anyway and support has been virtually non existant for the last 3 months.

Entire domain is still all down almost 8 hours later.

Despite ongoing discussion about future of CoovaOM, it does look like coova.net, coova.org, and coova.com are all down.

Ice storms can be pretty nasty in that part of the country, if that is the cause. I rode one out in Oklahoma, very near to Tulsa, where everything was coated in a generous 1.5inches of ice.

All roads became impassable, and power outages continued to occur for days after the storm, as power lines broke under excessive weight and/or telephone pole transformers blew up.

I was thinking all of his stuff was on Amazon - maybe I'm wrong.

The sites coova.com, coova.org, coova.net, and om.coova.net all map to the IP 174.129.195.118, which is located in Tulsa, OK, according to this site:

So, it could be that patch of Amazon's cloud is experiencing the outage, whatever the cause.

UPDATE: I was able to successfully switch my test mesh from CoovaOM back to the regular OM portal, so I'm doing now now for my production mesh while CoovaOM is down.

Plus, it looks like dashboard.open-mesh.com is now cloudtrax.com, and the new OM portal includes a MAC whitelist for clients to bypass the portal page entirely. Thus, my users whose MACs were whitelisted will not see an interruption (besides the node rebooting), and users previously locked out because of the CoovaOM outage can get back online. Neat!
