Anyone interested in developing an automated routine for keeping ROBIX up to date with the current version of ROBIN?

That would be nice, I think a manual method needs to be created first?

I've used the Locustworld mesh software on some x86 boxes, but Locustworld mesh has died, so am wondering are there any 'how-to's' regarding flashing compact flash to run on x86 platforms?

HDs fail in below zero temperatures, but CF setups just keep on working in temperatures well below zero.

Any advice on conversion to ROBIN Open Source is appreciated.

Quite a number of them.

What does that statement mean?

I don't see where discarding all my paid-for wireless radios (Prism2.5) and hardware just so I can spend new money provides any benefit other than to those who charge me to take my old equipment and charge me to sell me this "new hardware".

What attracts me to the ROBIN equipment is the small size as I've got some incredibly difficult-to-reach rural locations where my current boxes are just too bulky and keeping me from expanding the mesh.

For those locations, I'm willing to get new hardware, but not across-the-board-without-any-reason change the entire system.

Best way to break a new business is to needlessly spend the money of the old business.

I'd stick with Locustworld as it has 2-radio support, but development appears to have died. The mailing lists are shut down and no responses at all from Jon Anderson if the project is dead or not.

Maybe there are other mesh networks that use x86 hardware if ROBIN does not work well?

That's why I asked how many you had?
