A major upgrade has been made since previous release of MeshConnect dashboard (based on OprangeMesh 0.3) a month ago. A new demo is at

and you may download the package from

To get an idea about what to involve in installing the dashboard, visit the HowTo page at

The latest changes include:
1. Clean up the none-standard HTML page flow in the code, and fixed bugs that may cause delay in page display.
2. Added the structure for bi-lingual support. As a show case, it now supports Chinese in UTF-8 coding. The coding structure is made easy to find the corresponding fields and add support for other languages.
3. Added captive portal support. We have checked the NoDogSplash in limited cases. More testing is under way. To keep the package small and efficient, we choose not to boundle the tools environment for HTML editing; instead we provide a template and allow the user to host their splash template anywhere of their choice.
4. Added more features in the environment setting, such as "Use Node Name", "Strict Mesh", etc. One nice thing about this dashboard is that if you felt something not right, you could always redirect the control back to open-mesh dashboard.
5. The database is now enhanced to support historical statistics. The PHP coding remains to be done. But it made the upgrade easier in the future that the codes can be updated without impacting the MySQL database.
6. A step-by-step instruction is given in a HowTo page for XAMPP and dashboard installation.

Please give it a try. And please, share your comments and suggestions.

@ouyang_dragon

set your nodes up on the open-mesh.com dashboard then transfer them to the meshconnect dashboard.

Are you hosting you own meshconnect server?

I read most of the posts on this page and I hope some one can help me?
I bought an OM1P Open-Mesh my goal was to have a wifi device that would only be hooked to my lan and force ALL wifi either to a built in splash screen that I can edit or to a server based web page? IE: my goal is to run an audio server with like win encoder and have all wifi traffic be forced to it or click a link to get to it at like 192.168.1.XXX any one done this that can walk me through it?

Thanks.
