Anyone know of any PoE switches compatible with the om1p? (I.e passive PoE switch).
There are so many 802.3af switches but no passive PoE.
The only one I found was from Tycon, and it's not managed. I wanted one that could do VLANs and power cycle the devices.

Lots of 802.3af switches that do that...

* Open-Mesh NG supports VLANs
* OM1P has built-in auto reboot (hardware watchdog)

problem is I need 15 of them, and thats going be impractical, and look bad.
15 PoE injectors, 15 AC power supplies, lots of Power strips...

Last time I got a 24 port 802.3af switch = $400 plus 15 "UBNT instant 802.3af converters" @ $17 each. = $250.
It just a lot of money and seems like there should be a better solution.

I'm really looking for a 24-Port WebSmart Passive PoE switch? any exist?

or any ideas on other ways to do this?

Don't know much about that... but wonder whether this may be relevant in regard to whether what you're looking for exists:

Looks like those are very pricey... $489 MSRP for 12-port
