Hi,

Is it possible to limit the Tx power on OM1P's?
If so, how can I do this? And will the change be retained after a reboot?

Thanks!

Yes, you can.
I'm not sure this is available with current public facing dashboards.
Yes, once it checks in again.

Thanks Cody! I think I will need it to prevent 2 nodes blowing away each other.
I'm also interested in other dashboards but I'm not sure on how to approach it all and how it fits in with what I use as OS on the OM1P's.
Currently I'm using openmesh & r2695 and cloudtrax. But, the vouchers don't work for the moment which is a big disappointment and the ng release didn't really work for me, I didn't realize that ng doesn't use robinmesh at all so I was a bit lost since I really like robinmesh and the ease of config using ssh on the OS.

If I were to use other dashboard/captive portals etc I presume I will have to flash the real deal robinmesh on the OM1P's? I did however grow fond of the nice openmesh flash utility Wink and I don't know if robinmesh has the same approach Smile
Is there a (free or paid) captive portal/dashboard solution out there that allows me to control/report SSID#1 & SSID#2 clients and use vouchers all together?
There's orangemesh, chilispot etc, but it's hard to find just a table that lists all options and benches them together so I can just choose what I need and go with that, instead of trying them all out..

Thanks for the info.

I would strongly suggest to re-flash your routers to the latest stable build (r381X-something) using the FonFlash tool (which is extremely easy to use) and choose one of the robin-mesh dashboards to get the most of all the features that are available to you.

As for reporting/captive portal, it is hard for me to give an unbiased answer as I am the developer of both robin-dash and WiFi Mesh dashboards (of which WiFi Mesh supports vouchers, but is not yet released).

It all starts to make much more sense.
As my little mesh network has gone somewhat into production I'll have to setup a test environment first and perform the upgrade a few times to make sure I got all loose ends covered and finally execute it on the prod network.
I think I'll first flash the OM1p's to the latest robin release which should continue to work with the current cloudtrax dashboard & then change the dashboard and after that I should be ok Smile

Is there a webpage for Wifi Mesh with a roadmap or something similar?

Thanks!

Sounds good!

That information is not public yet, sorry. There is a WiFi Mesh sub-forum on here with more information on the features, and other stuff if you are interested. (
