A/P on 5Hhz for noisy 2.4Ghz areas

Has anyone done any work on robin using 5GHz as a AP ?

I have a village that is very noisy in the 2.4GHz to the point that clients lose connection
It might be interference but no amount of time with the wi-fi spy can detect it as when I get there it has gone and clients can connect again.

So I am thinking of using 5.GHz for the access point and changing the CPU’s over.

I am willing to buy the gear and provide testing and SSH access if it’s of help.

I have ALIX boards with twin radios in stock with wistron CM9 dual radios and UBNT XR5 radios

Or I will buy a Bullet5 ( I have stocks of NanoStation5 and NanoStation 5M and locos plus a pair of Pico5.
