Thought I would try to make some sense of the internal componentry of the OM2P, of course, this means I had to take it apart. Smile

The first thing I noticed was the rather large heatsinks (the brown object, not the silver on the front & back!), these are manufactured by a company named

. The Ethernet ports are a Lankom LG-2415S-1 which appears to be a 100/1000 Mbit adapter, though, it only appears to work at 100 Mbits. There is a capacitor which appears to be for the power input, it is labelled "1FM 120 10V" which I interpret as model, input voltage, output voltage. I could not really get a good look at anything due to the metallic shielding (which I suspect was placed there intentionally to prevent this kind of thing).

It has four pins (with the LAN ports facing towards the bottom) they are (in order from top to bottom): RXD, TXD, GND, VCC (3.3v).

Baudrate: 115200
Flow Control: None
Parity: None
Databits: 8
