Although this likely shouldn't be a surprise, since NG firmware is newer than the current version of MeshConnect (which is circa 2010?), but I have confirmed nodes flashed with the proprietary NG Cloudtrax firmware will not successfully check into a MeshConnect dashboard.
This is the error logged locally on the NG node:

Again, I reiterate Cloudtrax NG is closed-source, and the local tool responsible for dashboard checkins, /bin/dashboard, is binary and not open to inspection.
