Is it possible to import the node schema from open-mesh so I don't have to add dozens of nodes and place them on the map manually?

Should be soon... Mike was just in touch with me earlier this week about getting that feature implemented. Everything necessary to support it is already in Orangemesh, it'll just depend on when Mike is able to get that done.

You can now import all your nodes from Open-Mesh to your Orangemesh server. I've posted the update on our website:

My very first try got me this error: "Error executing query: Duplicate entry '00:12:CF:80:68:24' for key 'mac'".

My network name is "free wifi" with the space.

I also have no nodes in my OrangeMesh dashboard.

That's a bit strange... try a couple things.

1) Rebuild your table index for the node table:

REPAIR TABLE tbl_name QUICK;

2) Open up export.php, uncomment line 89, and try again. Let me know your output (anonymize it or send it to me by DM or email if you're concerned about privacy).

I cleared the database and made a new network before I saw you telling me to repair it.
I also checked the "enable migration" button since it seemed to make sense but it wasn't indicated in the migration instructions.

I got the import successful message Very Happy

Cool, glad it worked. "Enable Migration" is an artifact of the old method and actually does nothing.

Good to know. While we're talking, how can I help? I do web development on the side but I'm a far cry from a professional programmer. I've noticed some small things that I could help improve, such as not all pages have titles, etc. How can I be of help?
