I had that problem but when I changed my IP range and made sure I was on the same network everything worked fine.

Ok, I am stuck on step 2 when I found my mesh point IP address which is 10.1.10.188. When I do http://10.1.10.80 I get 403 Forbidden when I do http://10.1.10.188:8080 I get Unable to connect.

Same here RS pro flashed with no problems and broadcasting last 6 digits of the MAC. Now just need it to checkin.
